Therapy for Unexplained & Uncanny Experiences in New Jersey and NY
A place to bring what you haven’t known where to put.

Did Something Happen That You Can’t Explain?
Maybe it was a dream that felt more real than waking life. Maybe it was a coincidence so precise it gave you chills, a sense of presence in a room, a premonition that came true, or something you saw or felt that you’ve never said out loud. You may be wondering whether it means something, whether something is wrong with you, or whether you can tell anyone at all. You’re welcome to bring it here.

Who Therapy for Uncanny Experiences Is For, and How It Works
What I won’t do
I won’t tell you what it was. I can’t prove or disprove the paranormal, and I won’t pretend to. I also won’t explain it away as stress, a trick of the mind, or nothing at all, and I won’t hurry you toward a conclusion you don’t feel.
What I will do
Unexplainable and uncanny experiences are important, not because they can be proven, but because of what they do to the people who have them. I work in that spirit. Together we can look at:
-
What happened, in your own words, without anyone rushing to interpret it
-
What was going on in your life when it came
-
What it stirred in you, whether wonder, fear, grief, comfort, or all at once
-
How to live with not knowing, which is often the hardest part
Sometimes an experience opens into a larger conversation about your life: a change you’ve been avoiding, a loss you haven’t mourned, a question about meaning that’s been waiting for you. Sometimes it stays a mystery, and the work is making room for that.
Who this may be for
-
People who’ve had dreams, synchronicities, or intuitive experiences that won’t leave them alone
-
People who’ve had a brush with something spiritual, mystical, or inexplicable and feel unmoored or changed by it
-
People who’ve been dismissed or judged when they tried to talk about it
-
People who feel a pull toward the unknown but want a grounded, steady person alongside them
You don’t need to hold any particular belief to work with me. Skeptics and seekers are both welcome.
An Important Disclaimer About Therapy
This is psychotherapy, not psychic reading, dream prediction, or spiritual authority. If an experience is frightening, disorienting, or affecting your sleep, safety, or ability to function day to day, we’ll pay attention to that first and make sure you have the right support. Taking the unexplained seriously goes hand in hand with caring for the person who experienced it.

A Non-Judgmental Space for What Doesn’t Fit the Ordinary Story
I believe there’s more to a person than what shows up in daily life. When something breaks through that doesn’t fit the ordinary story, it's worth a conversation with someone who won’t judge. My practice is built on human encounter, two people, an unhurried hour, and room for what’s true.
Common Questions About Therapy for Unusual or Uncanny Experiences
Will you think I’m crazy?
No. Having a strange experience doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. Many people have them and rarely say so. I’ll listen to what happened and to how it’s affecting you.
Do I have to believe in anything?
No. You don’t need to share my views or any particular worldview. We start with your experience, not a belief system.
Do you think my experience was real?
It was real in its effect on you, and that’s where I start. I don’t need to settle what it was in order to take it seriously.
What if I’m scared by what happened?
That’s understandable. We’ll go at your pace, and I’ll help you feel steady before we go deeper.
You are not the first to meet something that does not fit the ordinary account of things. Let's give it our full attention.
